Many people who move for the first time wonder exactly how a mover charges for their services.  Here's an overview of the moving rates at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Pasco/Tampa.

Local Moves

For local moves we offer:

All local moves are billed with an all inclusive rate. It includes everything that the movers will need such as dollies, truck, pads, straps or any other equipment. Coverages and all the other benefits are included as well with no deductible.  Please contact our office for our hourly rates.

Packing

Packing is billed at an hourly rate plus packing supplies. We supply all the boxes and materials needed to pack an entire home or business. We can pack one box or the entire home or business. All items that we pack are insured by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® Pasco/Tampa.  Please contact our office for more information and hourly rates.

Load or Unload Only

Moving out of town and driving your own truck?  We offer loading and unloading services too.  These services are billed at an hourly rate.  We can also provide you with any supplies you may need such as pads and straps.  Just contact our office for more details.

Long Distance Moves

For Long distance moves, anything outside of Florida, we charge a flat rate. It is a price that will not fluctuate. Other companies may give you an estimate based on weight and distance. After they load the items on the truck they go over a scale and determine the “actual” weight. This is where you hear the horror stories about the price doubling at the unload. For example, let's say they say that you have 5,000 lbs on the truck, but find out once it's weighed it's actually 8,500 lbs.  When this happens, the charges go up. To avoid this, we give you an exact price on what it will cost to get from point A to point B regardless of the weight.

Another thing to keep in mind is that we're an expedited service. This means we load only your stuff on the truck and drive it directly to the new location and unload it. The same friendly movers that load you will carefully unload you. Most long distance movers load your items along with others and bounce around the country until they get to your unload.  This can possibly take weeks. They may also drop your stuff into storage until someone else comes along to grab it.
